The Connally High School step team, C-Tau-Eta, competed in the San Antonio Alumni of Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated annual step show and received first place overall! Their Zombie theme was a literally a thriller! ( They did the Michael Jackson thriller dance at the end. ) The show was Friday April 23, 2010.

All
student vehicles must be registered in order to park on campus.
Students must bring a copy of their driver’s license and insurance in
order to obtain a parking permit. Permits for the remainder of
the
year are $10 and may be purchased by completing the appropriate paper
work at the attendance office.
TxConnect
updated their software over the break and some User Names were deleted
in the process. If your account was deleted and you did not keep your
student’s Portal ID please visit the registrar’s office to obtain a new
account and password. TxConnect is the electronic system that allows
parents to view their student’s grades, attendance, and teacher’s
comments. You may pick up your parent portal from the attendance
office. Please bring your picture identification with you as it
is
required.

you are interested in volunteering (in any capacity) with Pflugerville
ISD please remember to submit an application located on the district

Ambassador Student volunteers are available to tutor students in

The CHS Spring Orchestra
Concert will be Tuesday May 4, at 7:00 p.m. in the
YEARBOOKS
- There are only 100 yearbooks still available to order for this year.
Yearbooks will arrive in less than a month, but we highly encourage
students and parents to order now before we sell out! Yearbooks can be
purchased by downloading the form on the school website and bringing
the form to H4001 or mailing to the school. Please note, there are no
more credit card orders at this time. Checks should be made to Taylor
Publishing. Yearbooks are currently $64 and will rise to $66 in May and
$70 when they arrive. Packages run from $5 to $11. The last day to
order names on the cover is April 30. If you have any questions, please

SPORTS
PHYSICALS - Sports Physicals (as required by UIL) for all incoming PISD
secondary (high and middle) school athletes (Current Grades 6th – 11th)
will be held on Saturday, May 22nd at

students wishing to participate in ANY Pflugerville ISD middle school
or high school extracurricular sport are required to have a physical
and completed participation form on file with the District prior to
next school year. If you have an existing
medical condition, you must see your own physician for the required
physical.
The following immunizations will be offered for FREE on the
physical date:
Tdap, Hep
A, Meningitis, and HPV. A parent/guardian
release must be filled out prior to the student-athlete receiving any
immunization. This release may be filled
out the day of the physicals or at any of the high school athletic
training rooms. These immunizations are
only offered to PISD students that complete an athletic physical on the
same day.
Heart
screenings will also
be offered for a fee of $10. This test
screens for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (thickening of heart wall) and
aortic stenosis (narrowing of heart valve). Parents
must
complete a consent form for all minors. Ages
14-and
up.
